How to Use the Agenda & Event Pack

Follow these steps to publish a timezone-aware agenda with per-item and “Add all” calendar downloads.

1. Add the Module

  • Go to the page where you want the agenda.

  • Click Add → search Agenda & Event Pack → drag it onto the page.

  • The module renders instantly with your default styles.

2. Create Events

  • In the Content panel, open Events and click Add.

  • Fill the fields for each item:

    • Title – required.

    • Description – rich text supported (links allowed).

    • Location – venue name or “Online”.

    • Start / End (Date & time) – pick local wall times for the event.

    • All Day – enable for day-long or multi-day (end is exclusive).

    • Event Timezone (IANA) – e.g., Asia/Manila, America/Los_Angeles. Leave blank to use the module’s default.

    • Details URL – optional “Details” button per item.

  • Click Apply inside each event, then Update/Publish the page.

Tip: If you’re unsure of a timezone string, use the dropdown you added (or type an IANA ID exactly). The module validates and falls back safely.

3. Choose Display Options

  • Show timezone toggle – lets visitors switch:

    • My local time (…your device’s TZ)

    • Event timezone (the per-item zone or the module default)

  • Add all to calendar (.ics) – one click to download the full agenda.

4. Set Defaults

  • Default Timezone – used when an event doesn’t specify its own.
Recommended: set it to the primary event location’s IANA zone (e.g., Asia/Manila).

5. Styling (Theme-friendly)

  • Accent Color – inherits your theme’s primary by default.

  • Body Font – inherits your theme’s body font.

  • Card Gap – Compact / Comfortable / Spacious.

  • The layout is responsive: controls stack and buttons go full-width on small screens.

6. Calendar Files (ICS)

  • Each item has Add to Calendar (generates a per-event .ics).

  • The header’s Add all button generates one .ics with all VEVENTs.

  • Times are written in UTC in the file so Google/Apple/Outlook import correctly across timezones.

7. Accessibility

  • Keyboard-focus styles on all interactive elements.

  • Semantic list of events (<ol>), visible labels, and sufficient contrast.

  • Reduced-motion friendly (subtle hover only).

8. SEO / Schema (Optional)

  • Enable JSON-LD schema in the SEO / Schema group.

  • Outputs a minimal Event schema per item with name, startDate, endDate, location, organizer, and url.

  • For virtual or hybrid events, you can extend the schema later (ask and we’ll provide a snippet).
